Since its inception in 1990, Balvihar Hindi School (a non-profit, educational program of World Hindu Council of America (VHPA) – Atlanta Chapter) accredited by Georgia Accrediting Commission, Inc. has been holding hindi and culture classes in the metro Atlanta area. Balvihar’s objectives include developing basic reading, writing, and communication skills in hindi. Developing awareness of hindu cultural heritage, traditions, and values by celebrating important hindu festivals. Instilling traditional hindu values and developing self-esteem through the study of great hindu personalities.
